Browse our wide selection of MG Chemicals for your next electronics project. Beyond being an MG Chemicals distributor, Circuit Specialists can also answer any questions you have about the product and how to use it.
MG Chemicals is a manufacturer of various chemicals and cleaning products for the electronics industry, such as cold sprays, dusters, protective coatings, flux, solders, photochemicals, adhesives, and much much more.
Since its founding in 1955, the company has taken great care to provide a wide assortment of chemical products developed through leading-edge science, innovation, and process engineering.
MG Chemical’s core offerings are its state-of-the-art chemical solutions for electronics. However, the company also sells non-chemical cleaning accessories (like swabs and brushes) and prototyping materials like copper clad boards and copper etchents. The following list are the primary types of products MG Chemicals provides:
MG Chemical’s Silicone Conformal Coating is a staple in many electronics workstations. The material provides excellent corrosion resistance for printed circuit boards (PCBs).
The 422B coating stands out for its quick drying time (about 5-7 minutes to be tack free and 48 hours to cure) and the slight fluorescence it gives off under blacklight, making it easy to see where the coating was applied.
The 838AR 340G conductive coating provides electrical conductivity to almost any surface. The conductive spray requires no heat cure and has a quick drying time.
The conductive coating’s primary application is to ground working surfaces to avoid static, but can also act as electric contact paint or carbon shielding paint in low-frequency RFI shielding applications. You can also use the 838AR 340G for shielding metal detectors and other devices where a metal-filled conductive paint would cause malfunction.
Another customer favorite is MG Chemical’s 832TV-450ML, a thermally conductive epoxy and potting compound with exceptional chemical and water resistance to brine, acids, bases, and aliphatic hydrocarbons. The 832TV-450ML comes with two bottles, labeled Part A and Part B, with an easy 1:1 ratio for mixing.
